It's made by Nintendo. When a nuclear war starts all that will survive are Nintendo products and Cockroaches. I've seen SNES thrown down stairs and not even get scratched, they are immortal. :D

This is true...My N64 has had it's fair share of knocks, including being pulled from a bracket 7ft in the air, with the cart in and it was turned on, still no damage done.

Of course, you might need to blow into the cartridge to get it working again.

...I'm showing my age, aren't I?

Hey, I'm only 22 and that applied through most of my childhood, so even some of the young 'uns may even get it.

The NES is mostly known for this, but it did work right the way through to the N64, so it's really only last generation that this stopped. Although, it still worked on GBA carts, so if you include handhelds it was working up until the DS.. and I suspect may work on the DS in some cases.

Thread hijack ahoy!

Since some of us are now taking our DSes in to play some games, it makes sense to list what multiplayer games we have, instead of carrying them all in and risking forgetting some

Multicart - Need the game each
Pokemon Pearl
Digimon world Dusk
Pokemon mystery dungeon Blue
Children of mana (this would be great if we had enough people)
Heroes of mana

Single-cart - can all play off one game
Mario 64 DS
Mario Kart DS
New Mario bros.
Tetris DS
Sonic Rush
Sonic Rush adventure
Bomberman land touch! (classic bomberman ftw)
Zoo keeper

If any one wants to we can meet some time on Saturay and play some multiplayer games together, do it as a weekly thing at a set time or something.

I know me and Sam almost always have our DS with us, so if you have yours on either days we're in I'm sure we can fit in a few games of Mario kart.
