I am looking at making the a large part of the retro section online only. This would mean putting all the current retro games and consoles onto the online store.

This would free up a large section of shop space but still allow me stock retro games and consoles.

Please have a look at the poll and drop me any thoughts you may have.....

For me, not really being into retro gaming I say shove it all online to make space for more cool stuff.

However, that opinion is slightly biased by the fact that I dont look at the retro section currently.

It really depends how much in-store interest you've been getting for them - I'm guessing not very much, if you are considering taking them away from the shop floor...

It may very well be that you will get more interest in them from online shoppers, as that's where most people who are into the retro games tend to find stuff these days. It's extremely rare to find them in your local town centre, so I don't think they really bother looking there on a Saturday afternoon anymore.
Just make sure you're up there in the search engines and message boards for all the relevant keywords and game/console titles.

I would maybe keep one or two on show in the shop though, as you never know when they might provoke enquiries...
