Yep, but it didn't last :roll: . Both the Retribution and Cryx are moving on to pastures new and there's a new army on the horizon. First game should be tonight vs the Religious fanatics of the Menoth. I will be debuting Rhyas, Sigil of Everblight. She's a ninja. 8)

Thanks to everyone who came down and joined in this year. Our Grand Champions have been recorded into the Hall of Heroes. Will they successfully defend their title? Or will a new hero emerge?

So starting the year off we have the following tournaments. I’ve included the starting date for all Grand Championships.

Wargames Workshop MK

Friday 17/01/2014 – High Command Kingmaker
Entry £1
Special offer until 07/02/2014 £10 for 12 months entry
We will have all the event cards to date as prizes.
*please note an additional fee of £2 is applicable to payable to wargames workshop


Saturday 18/01/2014 – Star Wars X-Wing
4 games of 100 points
Entry £10
24 player event
Prizes include Luke Skywalker X-Wing helmet and wave 3 releases


Saturday 01/02/2014 – Warhammer 40,000
3 games at 1500 points
Entry £10
16 player event
Prizes include medals and wargames workshop money vouchers


Saturday 15/02/2014 – Dreadball League Tournament
5 games – Team starts with 120mcs
Entry £10
16 player event
Prizes include medals and wargames workshop money vouchers, plus possible mantic prize support


Saturday 15/03/2014 – Warmachine/Hordes Highlander Tournament
One list at 25 points. List restrictions apply
Entry £10
24 player event
Prizes include medals and wargames workshop money vouchers


Wargames Workshop Northampton

Sunday 16/02/2014 - Warmachine/Hordes - Who’s the Boss? Tournament
1 list of 35 + 5 pts. Each player must bring 2 warcasters/warlocks. They do not have to be faction specific.
Entry £10
16 player event
Prizes include medals and wargames workshop money vouchers. Plus Gorman di Seawulfe (10 year anniversary press-ganger exclusive model)

Team normally starts with 100 mcs so you have an extra 20 mc to start with

High Command is held at wargames workshop MK. It's the same location as the steamroller you entered in November. I'm pretty sure it's going to be running from 7-10, it may even be till 11. We're going to be running it in a side room as FNM is on too.

I'll confirm the exact time later

No worries Jack,

Just trying to encourage more players to try us out before we launch in to the big ones. I think highlander is a good way of bringing new players into tournaments as you dont need may figures to play and your not going to be massively combo'd to death.

Hopefully it will bring in more clubs for you fellas to have a game against :)
