Right chaps just Order of battle from my side.
Looks like the Fallschirmjaeger are to be prepped for Monte Cassino later on in the Campaign. My Fallschirmjaeger force is fully painted and complete at about the 1100 to 1150 point level.
So looking at the upcoming battles. My British commando force now has taken centre stage as priority to get to its 1000 point level and complete.
This week is an urgent order for regular Wehrmacht force as these guys will feature throughout the campaign and beyond.
I estimate next 2 to 3 weeks to be ready on these two forces.

So time to start organising battle dates and where we are going to have these battles. Whos going to be involved and on what sides. For those of us who have forces for both sides I dont see a problem playing either side to keep the campaign going. As a suggestion for upcoming battles I propose adding some curve ball scenarios. Such as delays in reserves, weather factors and what impact that has for example delaying or scrapping air support missions. Delayed reserves I mean something like a dice roll for example only on a 5+ do they pitch up. This covers the difficult terrain and flooded rivers that were historical problems at Volturno.

Look forward to hear your comments chaps.

Ah excellent information. Some very interesting scenario stuff there.

Nice one Mike.

I propose something basic to kick it off- how about a simple 2v2 using a book scenario with some additions.

The one mike and I played, with the attackers starting off the board could work.

I'm thinking axis dug in- we could even implement barbed wire and minefield from the Europe book

Sounds good Jack. 2 vs 2 certainly is a lot of fun and in this situation where you have both British 8th Army and US 5th Army involved that could make a cracking game with a fast moving campaign.

You chaps may have read that Rayner has asked me to take over the Italy campaign writing.(posted in the "How would you like your campaign" thread. It sounds like the Eastern front is really warming up!! I'll get cracking straight away on that lads and post in this thread my proposals. As I venture on this I'd greately appreciate any input/ideas you guys may have. At this point it would be really great to see how many chaps out there want to play the Italy campaign and what forces you have ready to do battle.
Stand by for more...

Would love to take part in an Italian campaign but due to my Eastern Front and BloodBowl commitments at the moment it is probably a bit to much of a stretch. Sorry.

Supporting only soviets and having all my free time on the eastern front I will be watching only, that said I hope to be reading plans, scenario and battle report galore.

Why don't we just wait until eastern front is done then?

How many games did you have in mind?
