Where do you stand on this?

Is it reasonable to ask your opponent to use the same dice as him or are you protective of the mystical power in your magic set of dice and only you can use them?

If you had to share would you prefer to use dice that your opponent brought with him or dice that you brought with you?

Would you be insulted if your opponent asked to use your dice even though they had their own available?

Personally I have no problems with someone using my dice if they think they are dodgy.

I think it's reasonable for someone to ask to use the same set.

I'm never offended by this and I have asked it before not because I thought my opponent had loaded dice (he was a respected member and a friend of mine) but because not all dice are created equal and some are weighted slightly (vault dice) although I think people should ask respectfully and explain why if asked.

Using the same dice is a pain in the bum but I'd agree to this if it made my opponent insisted.

No 'novelty' dice should be used and dice cups should be compulsory. Then sharing wouldn't be an issue in my opinion.

I'd happily share dice, it's the only fair way. I'd be concerned about an opponent who didn't want to as it's really not that awkward. I've stopped using my red vault bowl dice as there seemed to be some unfounded concern about them (I've tested them) and I'd rather just not have the issue come up

Im easy about the whole dice thing.

Mine seem cursed so Im happy to share :D

Gazza has a point about dice cups.... Stops any doubt about rolling and keeps them on the table and from going into orbit

To be fair, I think mandatory dice cups is a good Idea. Some people roll some dodgy ways!!

I am happy to share my dice or use my opponents if asked to.
I have suggested this before and will again...but next season can we pay a bit extra and have SET dice for everyone to use? This will eliminate any problems with dice and how "lucky" they are.

The problem is sourcing dice (as people change their sign up right up to the last minute). This would create a lot of extra hassle for me so is unlikely to happen.

We are all adults at the end of the day and should be able to at least come to an agreement about which dice we are willing to use. For example I won't play against the orange vault can dice, I would also think someone as being unreasonable if they insisted on using those dice.

In my game against Draven my dice were on a bit of a run and he asked that I use a different set, no problem, I simply got a different set out and rolled them.

but if we payed for the dice the season before we get them you can order that season ready for the following, that way it stops any hassle of worrying if people will our won't drop out.

I had a similar game whet my dice were spectacular and I offered myself to swap dice.

ive been role playing and so rolling dice sinse i was 11 and not once have i been accused of cheating or being decietfull in any way while rolling my dice, but at the start of this season i had a blinding game against sparkydave and dom said to me straight away that he wanted to use my dice. i ofcourse said go ahead. after a couple of rolls he handed them back realising that they were no different.

the point is that dice are about as random as u can get. i dont feel that anyone in the league would be that Coventry bent on winning that they would purposfully load dice in order to get the rolls they needed. i dont feel that cups should be mandatory as long as people are not just 'dropping' dice there has to be an obvious roll/spin before coming to a stop. i will happilly open my dice to anybody else and will gladly use a different set if requested to do so. however i do feel that refusing to grant a simple request like, can i use the same dice? can u stick with one set? can u use my dice? does come across as a little childish as if this person had nothing to hide then what be be the issue? also it is equally important to understand that when u ask someone to do this u are indirectly suggesting that this person may be using (knowingly or not) heavy dice, a lesser person may find this offensive, therefor it is very important to be respectfull and back up ur request with reasoning and evidence.

I now have a dice cup... I think it makes the dice unlikely to end up resting on some third party more than anything else ... as for somone using them.. they are welcome to.. I'd be practically guaranteed 11 men on the pitch at the end of the game :D

Dice=luck

I don't mind sharing, I'd not get affronted if asked or had to share, (although it is a pain).

(Although I do believe in The Dice Gods they will choose what you roll whatever dice you use - annoy them at your peril)
