Rayner, if you do know of anybody who wants to jump in then there's certainly a spot open in this game to pick up control of Turkey. Alternatively, if we find some more active players we can reset the game (since we've only had a couple of turns) to avoid anybody being handicapped by taking on a power that's made no moves yet.

The new map will up on the usual page shortly.

Edited to add:

On another note, since I'm using software to adjudicate, and this requires the orders in a particular format could you all please re-read the guide (on the wiki) and ensure your orders are written correctly as I don't want to have to amend them to what I think you mean in case I get it wrong. As an example, Steve's support order failed because he wrote a rum s bul. The software didn't see a piece in bul to support and so held the piece in rum. Instead it should have been a rum s a ser-bul.

The orders are
  • - to mean move, e.g. a bul-rum
  • s for support, e.g. a bul s a rum-ser
  • c for convoy, e.g. f eng c a lon-bre
  • and h for hold, e.g a sil h

It may look complicated, but it's far easier for me than if you write out in full what you want to do, e.g. A in bul MOVES TO rum. The short orders are quicker for you to write and quicker for me to process and not open to creative interpretation.

I'm sure the other players would prefer they fought back rather than stood by as the tanks rolled in though. Doesn't really count as a victory otherwise.

Coolio. If they want to join in but don't necessarily fancy picking up the doomed Turkey then there can easily be more games after this one.

Another warning: I will be working away at the UK Games Expo all weekend. I will be taking my laptop however so hope to still get the map up as soon as possible.

This does not mean orders can be late.

Sorry for the dealy, orders got processed on Friday night but was way too tired to upload the map before I had to sleep.

Map is now up (http://beardypete.com/wiki/index.php?ti ... _One#Map_7) and I require adjustment orders as follows:

England +1
France -1
Russia +2
Austria +2

Remember builds must be done in your starting SCs only. Jack, tell me which unit you want to disband (why am I typing this, I'll probably see you at the expo before you even read this)

Soon as possible please guys!

edited: missed that Steve needs two new units too!

Hi all,

how about we start again?

Rayner has a couple of players possibly and Prophanti would like to play and if Jack can remember hes playing we may get 7?

treat it as a warm up to get used to playing?

Not much in the way of response so far. I'm inclined to keep this going for a bit I think, at the very least until a second game has been filled then we can either finish this and go straight to a full game, or if people still want to knock this on the head we can do so and go straight into a full game.

I do agree with Steve. Sure people would sooner start new than be chucked in to a full going game/
