My wife met a lorry with loose rubble .... a little too close for comfort

Woah! Glad it wasn't worse - looks like the windscreen fended it off as it's designed to do, that must be some comfort.

I think by law lorries have to secure loose loads with a tarpaulin cover to prevent exactly this kind of accident.

lots of love @ pete. Glad all are ok. I believe sense denotes that lose loads are secured before driving around. Then again i know some truck drivers and i don't think sense is one of their skills.
