Is it worth asking about tables? I swear there used to be loads
More!

At the moment, it's looking doubtful for space to play anything other than bb on a club
Night.

This seems a shame considering
Recent interest in various TT systems

I shall ask about additional tables (though I think they threw away some broken ones)

It may be worth buying some 4x4 boards that we can store at the Phoenix - then you can have a battlefield on a single table?

If they can be stored somewhere that they won't be trashed then sure.

6 x 4 is sometimes required too, which would be quite unstable on 1 I reckon

6x4 would need 2 tables
4 x 4 should be ok on 1

Indeed. Will look into it, I don't wanna spend money on something for it to be trashed by yoofs though

Im sure I gave the phoenix centre loads of tables when the shop closed.....

More than happy to stay where we are if we can sort the issues so that everyone is happy? I was just suggesting alternatives incase issues cant be resolved.

The Hideout wont be going anywhere Pete as they are doing very well and are looking at making the premesis larger due to doing so well.

Aren't they all locked up in the shed type contraption next to the stage?

It's just a bit rubbish isn't it? Two table
Soft board games.

That leaves 4 tables for bloodbowl and TT stuff

*raises hand*

I stopped bringing my RPG to the club because it was more stress to come to the club than to not bother. (The heating was broken for ages, there was no guarantee of decent tables or chairs, and the room wasn't always available when we were...)

If a new venue had a suitable room (sound proofed from you loud-mouthed table-top and board gamers ), then I guess I'd come back.

Darryl's schedule of roleplaying is fixed to every other week - pretty consistently. I know your schedule is more fluid and the club only has access to ONE quiet roleplaying room. The alternative is the small room just inside the dolphin suite. Even with the door closed, it is not ideal.

The heating has now been repaired - that said, it was bad for a while. They have also thrown away the broken tables and chairs - so everything works now, there is just less of it.

I don't blame you for RPing in the peace of your own homes. We may just have to admit that we cannot be all things to all people.

Is it worth looking at what else we can get?

It would be nice to be able to have everyone at the club who wants to play at the club.
