So, I'm putting my rag-tag mob together and this is where I'm at:

Wizard - Sword and Dagger (5gp extra)
Apprentice - Staff, 200gp
Templar - 100gp
Archer x3 - 150gp
Thief - 20gp
Hound x2 - 20gp

Nothing to spend my last 5gp on. :(

If I can find some leather armoured skeleton xbows then at least one would swap in for an archer but they're not proving particularly common.

I've had one test run of the combat mechanics to see if I "get" them, the thing that stood out most is how much single dice rolls can make a difference, critical hits are brutal! Does add to the fluff though. I think the combat assists will be an interesting part, did people find they used those in the games so far or has it been mostly one on one?

I'm looking at spells now, with Raise Zombie, Animal Companion and Summon Demon there could be quite a menagerie on the board!

Some stand-ins for the group shot while I'm waiting to find a few bits but already started with little conversions, there's a swordsman that got an extra blade to become a treasure hunter that I just can't afford and some greenstuff on a hound to make it a little more "undead".

Glad it's going down well. We have 2 games in prospect for Wednesday if you want to join us. Also using the Buckley approved turn limit mechanism.

Credit where it's due, Paul's mentioned they'd been using it and it's such a nice mechanic that it begged to be stolen!

Who else is about this week?

Shall we try one of the more interesting scenarios from the book?

Underground library one sounds fun.

Well good Tom!

Anyone have any preference for scenario? SOme of the ones that require special scenery I bet we can cobble together.

Library.

Table should be set up as a maze of corridors and shelves. rough ground patches to represent books and debris.

I have a load of hirst walls and Paulus has book shelves.

Shall we try for this?

The cool bit is, you get to re roll treasures that don't include a grimoire on time too as part of the mission.

I think I might start playing this soon. Are many here still into it?
