I need a bit of help with deciding what kind of character you guys require as a suitable addition to the party.
As Pete said you guys seem to need a healer of some sorts but please add your thoughts to the poll.

Well, we're a little low level for you to bring CoDzilla to the party (and we already have one cleric), but something healy might be nice - maybe Holy Knight (there are no Paladins in Gaultria) or multiclass cleric/something?

Actually, a cleric/rogue with the rogue part built for diplomancy* and UMD could find a niche in the party.

*Not a spelling mistake. Gather info/Bluff/Sense motive/Diplomacy can be pretty good in the right situations.

Actually, any class from the PHB is permitted, and Holy Knights as well.

I only disallowed Paladins in my game at home, along with Bards and Druids. We can use anything in the Vault - I will fnd a space for it somehow.

You want to play a guy with a horse growing out his butt? Hold on, I'll look up the stats for one of those abominations*...

Oh look - they're not in the PHB.

*Look, Dobbin up there is scaring the poor baby.

No-one's told you that there are no centaurs in my game, have they?

You could play a guy with a horsey thing growing out of his butt, if you really want - but it'd be more of a headless conjoined twin, fused at the shoulders / pelvis, covered in fur... Not what you're after, I'm sure.

Stick with the dwarf.

You may not want to move any further down this road, Jack...

Having heard what Alastair has to say about centaurs in his game, it seems that he has his own stats and level progression, and considering he'll be treating the creature as a man with a headless, hairy conjoined twin hanging out of his back, I think we can assume it ain't going to be awesome...
