I've only got a handful of minis, but I can bring in a decent-sized tactical mat (hexes on one side, squares on the other). The closest thing I have to a 2nd ed. PHB is a Baldur's Gate manual though.

I can bring my big case o' minis if you like - in exchange for use of a PHB.

Only thing you really need to play is some dice, full set would be great, but I am sure to have some spares around. A PHB would be great, but again not completely necessary as I have some available for you to use on the night. Other than that just bring yourself and a pencil (eraser optional).

Can anyone bring a tactical map and miniatures for us to use? Not absolutely necessary but would add dimension.

Thanks all, Darren

I have a map, scenery and some minis to top up Altairs offering if needed...!

A full set of dice contains:

D4
D6
D8
D10
D12
D20
D100 (or a second D10 that you can differentiate from the first)

Edit: I should probably point out that Steve sells dice sets for about £5 (give or take a bit).

I'll bring my spare bag o' dice, too. There's a full set in there, and plenty of duplication, should you need it (we won't at 1st level, most likely).

I'd like to thank tinan-gembearer for taking the time to go through character creation with us. A lot of us weren't familiar with it at all, and he demonstrated the patience of a saint in helping us out. That said, I'm looking forward to the game now!

Thanks guys for your positive comments. I am really looking forward to getting my teeth stuck into this one! I had a really good feeling about this group and hope you enjoy the coming campaign. Remember, this is YOUR campaign world as much as mine, you guys have an impact on what happens, even small actions by PCs can have unexpected consequences which may send ripples throughout the region  Your decisions WILL be crucial and affect how others perceive you

Gr8 start

Darren

Sorry, forgot to say that I am looking forward to receiving character backgrounds from players. Make them as in-depth and as broad as you want. The more info I have the more I can throw at you......ha..ha.ha  ....... I mean the more potential fo role-play their will be.

Any PC info you dont want to be common knowledge please PM over to me :D
