just a suggestion, i was thinking that if we could maybe switch nights with the kids on a wednesday and every one can still make it, then we could play every week. also if some one is away then we can catch up quite easily instead if going 4 weeks behind, jus thought it might be easier that way :)

Wednesdays the evening is given over to the junior games club from 5-8pm, I'm afraid that swapping probably wouldn't be that easy...

Swapping would be nigh on impossible, I'm afraid - Wednesday is for kids, Thursday is for adults. It has been like this for a long time and works well. (When the clubs first started, there was one night which everyone came to, and this ended up being kind of insane!)
The two groups are kept separate so kids can be kids, and adults can be... well, adults. :)
If you start bringing adults to the kids night and kids to the adults night, this all just kind of falls apart!

On a personal note, I don't really want to play on weds night (as there would be other kids there doing other stuff) - I'm just not a kids person.

Can I find more places to write the word 'kids' in this post, do you think? ;)

Hello. I recently moved from the states to Leamington Spa. I am VERY interested in joining a 3.5 campaign. Do you have room for one more?
(Haven't made a character yet, but that won't take long)

Paul, this thread relates to the D&D Encounters which is currently run using 4E rules, because WotC say so.

There is a 3.5esque game running (3.5 but with several homebrew elements) but this is currently oversubscribed and has a waiting list for new players to replace dead characters. There does seem to be a lot of interest in 3.5 in general though so maybe a new DM wants to step up to the mark?

The current waiting list is at viewtopic.php?f=37&t=649 if you want to join yourself to it although it may be a long wait as it requires someone to die before it takes a new player.
