I'm slowing adding constuction options and wondered if people had any suggested ideas.
It could just be a word suggestion ie, Barracks
Or you can put forward rules and a suggested value, If I feel soem thing needs changing i will do that of course as I may well do with my own as we go along. Remember I'm looking for simple little add ons not crazy rule changing ideas.

Ideas I already have
Gun emplacement
Bunkers
Warp gates
Airstrips (already exisit)

how about??? players with mines can use their cp's to extend their tunnels at a rate of 2cp per hex. Thus allowing them to bypass hexes. I.e. from my mine say at 04.05 i spend 6cp and pop up attack 3 hexes over in 04.08. if attacker wins they win the hex, if attacker looses tunnel is destroyed but no further consequence. I know this is quite similar to the airstrip. But its a one shot at a lesser cost and lets people attack other players they wont have a chance to otherwise.

Survaliance tower - opponent has to send you their army roster before game.

Counter survaliance - stops survaliance

Adv survaliance - can send wrong army roster

Too much like air strip, also mines have big advantages already.

Like this idea but my need some tweeks to avoid complication.

Defence network? construction prevents airstirkes, gun emplacement bombardment and attacker must send army roster to defender before attack?

Here's the ones and their "in-game" effects from Crusade of Fire book:

Command Bastion
May take a free Bastion. This still counts towards your fortification limit.

Manufactorum
May take an additional Elite, Fast Attack or Heavy Support choice.

Power Station
You gain +1 bonus to the roll to decide who gets to deploy first.

Shield Generator
May place a counter in your deployment zone after deploying - this counts as an Archeotech Force Dome Generator.

Spaceport
May take a free Skyshield Landing Pad. This still counts towards your fortification limit.

Hive City
Counts as a Spaceport, Shield Generator, Power Station and Manufactorum.


A few more I have thought of based on the old 40k pc games:

Advanced Forces
Extra points to make attack with.

Defensive Forces
Extra points to defend with.

Advantage Strike
Deduce opponents force points before battle.


Oh and another thought. How about if someone plays a Relic game and win. They get to add a random Archeotech Relic.

I was thinking someway to allow allies to support each other in battle. Could make 2v2 battles more possible and offcourse if one person is constantly required to fight another an ally could sub in for the defender.

just some thoughts not put any names to things as such.

These types of things are being considered but with so few games happening its very much on the back burner.
