Flame room????? What for with your orks about? They even get each other!
Did consider a damaged section venting into space but then how would i deal with that in the rules....spend more than 2 turns in there an its an auto casualty?

At a later date (and i'm not totally sure how 'doable' this is), could you not play a game where the ship itself is a corrupt entity which you have to go up against. You could (hopefully) ramp up the atmosphere and throw in certain scenarios a bit different from the norm, less of a slugfest and more of a creep around the dark, cold corridors (and yes, I know it's a blatant rip-off of Event Horizon but just wondered if it could be done). If i've posted up on the wrong thread soz about that. I would be more than happy to help develop some rules for this.

The scenery can be used for other tabletop stuff, ive just adapted the killteam rules to work on it, you could do the same with any futuristic tabletop ruleset, or just make up your own game!

As for the ship it has its own surprises as people have been finding out, suicide stan being my personal favourite, you should have seen buckles face as he watched his rangers die!
But its still a work in progress, and i have thought about different scenarios for it, like a full on nid invasion with 3 teams working to survive the longest to win, but they will have to come when everyones got the basics down!

Sorry to hear about the 23rd but ive filled your place already! Enjoy the forgeworld pics! 8) :lots of love:

I love the idea of fighting against the ship itself. Wasn't there a GW game called 'Advanced Space Crusade' set aboard a 'Nid Hiveship that played somewhat similar?

You could use the blip system from space crusade to see what you come up against but other than that, the rules are a bit lacklustre!

Lot's of nice room idea's but what about rather than adding and expanding outwards but going up and down with rooms being placed on adjacent tables

I have toyed with that idea but at the end of the day tables are at a premium at the club, so its probably gonna be aerial walkways(for now!) that can just slot over the gameboard, ive created a couple of extra sections already which fit onto the side and will give more room for teams to manouver and also additional missions! But i doubt these will be in play till the 23rd at least.

Main priority for now is evicting gary from the bridge, hopefully that will happen wednesday!

I think Wednesday's aim should be about learning the rules while going for sub-missions and ultimately all the invading teams destroying each other, that's how previous rounds have gone! :)

Just my purely unbiased view obviously.

The nids havent been on board before! You can always hope the inquisition bogs them down or the crew pull something out the bag, but i doubt youll escape unharmed!

Im on hand to help people with tactical suggestions and make sure were keeping an eye on the rules but im sure if nothing else itll be fun!
