Ok so after the playtest last week i'd like to start properly asap:

Ground rules: rosters will start at 250 pts. MAXIMUM 400PTS PER TEAM PER GAME,(MODELS OVER THIS HAVE TO SIT IT OUT AND GAIN NO XP)And needs to be written down on a paper roster (for the time being) if new teams can bring an extra copy it will help greatly.
Requisition points/experience points and injury rolls will need to be allocated after each game, then its up to you to choose the skills/extra's and add them to your roster before your next game.
Teams will be tranferrable so if you want to lend someone your team they can use them with all your skills, but if they get injured thats on you! :lots of love:
Ive made some slight edits to the rules and a couple of the skills to make them work with the game board, and obviously theres a few extra ship rules., but i'm hoping to get everyone a photocopy of these modified rules before their first games.

Edits to hor rules are as follows
Main hor kill team rulebook:
We will be using the optional injury rules on p5 of the hor rules.
Discard p6 onwards as the ship rules cover deployment, victory conditions ect,ect!


Hor campaign rules:
Barman acheivement on p5 has been removed. :wink:
Eagle eyes shooting skill on p7 has been changed to : snap shots are fired at BS 2 (not BS1, i.e.5+ hit for snap shots during overwatch)

Also on p7 master of manouver leadership skill has been changed to master of stealth: you may choose one core group or single special model in your team to gain the stealth special rule at the start of every battle, for the duration of the game.

And thats it. The few ship specific rules will be explained pre game .

Okay so my final question is when is best to start? I can do the 11th and/ or the 25th june and will have room for 3 players(when everyones got the hang of it this can be increased upto 5)

Depends when I fit in the round 10 game vs Macabre, but the 25th sounds good if the 11th doesn't work.

just wanted to give people some options! What with dungeonbowl being on the 18th!
if i can get 3 players for each, I dont mind running it on both nights.

I wont have a 250pts killteam in place by the 25th (still have to download the rules to make an Iron Warrior specific one), if I were to be available would someone be able to lend me a 'team'?

Good to see a decent response, the 11th is provisionally full now ,

and only 1 space left for the 25th (will have to organize a date for round 3 after round 1 is played)

Orks are gonna be there for anyone who wants to have a go just let me know, ive even started painting them a bit now!

Ok so kill team round 1 is now confirmed full,
Playing round 1 on the 11th is bob(marines) , gary(harlequins?) and tom. (Ultras). Looking at starting by 8. Please bring 2 copies of your roster if possible(handwritten is fine) and ill sort out updated copies of the rules for all of you.
