Which tbh makes tactical sense. Although fluff wise nids wouldn't tend to do that
. As for doors a normal man shouldn't be able to break a door down its a metal sealable structure. Try takeing your lounge door out it will take u more than one hit and its a 10th as strong.

Nope, but its just a representitive game mechanic, a man might pop the front of the door control panel off, short out some key circuits and make the door open itself however.

In much the same way as when i use my lounge door, i have the knowledge and tools (a thumb in this case) to safely open the door without breaking it and without breaking sweat.

Heck i can even open my bathroom door when locked from the wrong side. without the use of an axe :P but the use of a small coin or screwdriver will do the job quite nicely.

You watch sci-fi films with door troubles, majority of the time men find a way to open the door rather than blowing it to Coventry. I would say a man with a boltgun isnt machinegunning a man sized hole in the middle of the door, he's blowing the lock to hades!

@talonbay lots of love my lounge door is rubbish they all need replacing and would be very easy to kick in. Not tried yet.

@paulus the house isn't finished yet no hopefully in a couple of months but i would habe no problem hosting a few games. I have alot of games i'm working on at the min so its not on the cards at the moment.

@drazgon they are rocking horse poop mate. Although lucky for you i taught god how to game when i was a boy and believe i have the body etc to one not sure about arms. I will have a suitible weapon depends what one your after.

I'm not suggesting that you attack your doors at home. You know your house so you know the tricks. Does that method work in every bathroom? The case in point is alien surrounds so little tricks can be taken as unknown. The doors are sealed as suggested by paulus's rules. Control panel is fair enough but thats hacking not fighting in my book. Your orignial suggestion was door strength. In scifi films is normal to have a specialist in tech to hack and he is normally a lame geek. lots of love

Paulus, if it's just a matter of space I'm happy to host at mine as I have the space now :)

Also I had a thought today, as Facings have been added in for kill team I wanted to clarify the rules for it,

Firstly what is the firing arc? 90° forward? 180°? how much has it been reduced to?

Also does changing facing count as moving? There are some skills for shooting that allow bonuses provided you don't move.

Facing should be 180 front can see to fire overwatch ect 180 behind cant, just gives it that authentic 'its behind you moment!' That we all love from alien films, as for turning models, im more inclined to allow this! Without penalty as its not like your guys just been for a run with his heavy weapon, rather hes scanning for targets!

Shadow games seem happy for me to hold it there but it may be a few weeks before that can even be arranged due to stupid magic! If in the meantime you fancied hosting a game that would be cool too. Not this week as my cars off road till wednesday at the earliest!

They look like they need some tidying up but it's only a couple of quid at the moment.
