So I was wondering who has actually played the new rule set and what they thought?

I'm not a fan of the psykic phase as it's made it very difficult for psykic based armies to get any use from their powers really.

Don't you have to...or risk being on the dinosaur list with The rag man? ;)

It wouldn't be that bad in kill team as people can only really run one psyker, the rule for the most part at the same. Otherwise the kill team lists will be written for the wrong rules (like orks for instance)

Have been looking at some 7th ed battle reports and for me the addition of a psykic phase does seem to improve the game allowing players to get more out of there psykers by not replacing actions in other phases

As ive said previously i am looking at updating to 7th in the future(xmas time perhaps), but it will mean a reset of some kind, however i would like to do it in a way that people could possibly transfer some of the stuff theyve already earnt.

Or

We do a final scenario game where you earn points and wargear to take with you by surviving longer against an unlimited nid/genestealer horde Or something ???

Love the idea of a "dungeon bowl on a space ship" where there are a few kill teams having to hold off an infinite swarm of 'nids while trying to complete side missions :)

Probably would need to run a couple of sessions as I can see it being popular!
