Here is the biggest single piece of feature scenery I have worked on. Myself and TBOPfalcon worked on it over 2 evenings. 1 to build 1 to paint. He sis the base and I did the main turret. Its working title and joke name is the Fruit pastile cannon. Prizes for guessing why. lots of love. There is an imperial Guardsmen in some pics for size reference thats if you can clock him.

Wow! How cool is that!

Was it built for a campaign or something?

What's the story behind it?

It was January and thats scenery season for me (due to low work loads and stacks of time) being post christmas the kids were chomping their way though the big tubes of fruit pastiles and like. TBOPFalcon picked two up and said "I bet we could make a massive cannon out of these" my reply was "yeah we probably could but why?". "Because it would be mega amazing" which after about 20 mins of him going on about it I got up and got out my scenery box and work began. I remember I was really low on supplies and had to keep improvising for parts.
Alot of fun and very rewarding. It was later used in a campaign as an objective.

Brilliant! Love the use of household 'tat' in wargaming. Reminds me of the old Rogue Trader 'Shampoo bottle land speeder' and all those Pringle tube Wizard towers you see on the net. Good stuff! :D

That is a great piece of scenery, and it's just crying out to be blown sky-high by a bitter and twisted unit of Iron Warriors! :lots of love:

Love this! And is that a Tallarn Desert Raider I spy? I used to have Mordian Iron Guard but Desert Raiders always looked cooler.
