Finally got a bit of progress on the 28mm English Civil War stuff, for hopefully some spring/summer games with Rayner and my local clubmates. Not a particularly great shot, but a hint of things to come, part of the musket wing of the King's Guard regiment. These are mostly done, having been bashed through and dipped - they're nothing special up close (I'm aiming for 200 odd so can't piddle about on each one), but look ok from table range, or will be when based, but saving the basing treat for the grand finale so they look a little more uniform - and I only have to go through it once...
More as they progress.

We can't play then... :D

I'm planning eventually (2019) to do alternative command bases with parliamentary (rebel!) flags. Warlord flags don't look like they can swap out of hands too easily. In the meantime we can use the age old method of just ignoring it!

I think I have two cannons, one warlord and a Perry one.

I have a few different commanders I can paint one from each side which was my plan anyway. All is easily ignored considering all the side swapping anyway lots of love. Be aware I will lose as a protest :s

Warlord minis. I'll happily shift to old wart face if it means I get to play a few games.
