Funny you should say that as we had a swear box running during the Brawl all day yesterday - I think Nobby was far and away the highest "donor" although I must concede that £1.50 of mine ended up in there also.

Only because you'll end up putting 30 quid in it each night, Jack.

Me, I'm in two minds about a swear box - on the one hand, it'd encourage people to be more measured in their speech and maybe donate some cash to a good cause, but on the other hand, I tend to ******ing swear when things are getting exciting - and exciting is what the games club is all about..

Swearing only shows passion if you only swear when you're passionate. As soon as it becomes a regular feature in speech patterns then all it shows is that you're in the habit of swearing - exactly what swear boxes are meant to stop.

some people would say swearing shows a lack of Vocabulary, or agression...

otherwise i wouldnt know how to make a swear jar work, ill have to agree with what Daremonai said though

i only swear when i have been clumsy or do something wrong meaning that i swear lots without realiseing it.

It meant i was caught out a lot during the brawl.

I do think it is a good idea for charity though
