The name is fine.

This isn't an out of character thread. Can we all stick to the topic, please?

It was pretty quick actually. The mounted sorceress Lightning Bolted Eleanor and Fel before swooping across the raft yelling out in a language none of us knew. At which point a troll popped up out of the bushes quickly followed by two ogres.

The wizard Fireballed the lot of them as they were all quite close together, then the sorceress landed some distance away. Not far enough away from Imad though who finised her off with a Searing Light, having already Prayered the group for some good buff/debuff. Upon dropping the sorceress Imad let out a blood curdling yell and the ogres ran away.

The troll closed to attack and starting beating on Imad before rushing Ben into the water. The wyvern also came in talons blazing and picked on Eleanor for a bit. Eleanor didn't like that much so dropped the wyvern after a couple of good hits.

Meanwhile our resident arsonist mage had been going a bit fire-happy on the troll and that fell over too.

Lanyssa hid in the water throughout the fight before surfacing to cast a few Cure spells.

We rounded up the horses, dropped anchor and rested up overnight before travelling onwards. XP was awarded, magic items were paritally identified, shiney clues were retrieved from the sorceress.

I thought that was the simplest way to cope without having a character sheet for her.

I mentioned last time that during the spare time I was attempting to ID magic stuff and learn spells if possible. For ID I have:

Belt Moderate transmutation
Ring Moderate evocation/faint evocation
amulate moderate divination
Polearm exotic moderate abjuration
magic ring (goblin)

The spells were:

Pyrotechnics (already understand this one, just need to write it).
levitate
mirror image
lightning bolt

The time to learn/write seems less than it was. It's a bit late for this time, but for next?

Since we're about to pick this up again - is this where we left it or did other stuff happen afterwards? I have recollections of a big underground undead thing that looped us around and a temple with automatons in it but can't remember if that happened before or after the dragon/sorceress.

I do wish I'd kept up with session write ups :(

I was thinking the same thing last night.

The last I remember was the desert temple thingy with the big golem that lanyssa got in a net and pulled over.

That's about right: most recently you were with a caravan of traders crossing the desert, encountered a vulture-headed wizardy type (and killed it), then investigated a temple ruin, where you found a few undead / golem thingies (and killed them).
You're still travelling with the caravan for the moment. We'll pick up from there.

Well, we started another day in't desert by scouting ahead of the caravan. It wasn't a good caravan like how we halfling traders do them, but these tall people try their best.

Much like Legs, who was a forward scout ahead of the fighters and straf. We noticed a big cloud of dust, so Legs ran back to tell the caravan boss. I did what halflings do best, hid in a bush.

Before I knew it there were 'bout hundred bandit fellers on 'orses. I shot one and so did Legs, but we were both pretty rubbish at it. We is much better at hiding and stabbing people. But I am better.

One the rest of our posse caught up the murder began really. Eleanor shot loads dead with her bow, but she did have much bigger arrows than me. So I didn't really care. The crazy elf named Fel killed loads of the 'orses with her spiky bits as they ran passed. Then I hid in a bush again. Straf killed loads with lightening. It was amazing, much better than my swords electricity.

But then a bandit ran passed me on his 'orse and I showed Legs who was the best jumper by leaping on the horse as it went past me. I nearly missed it though, think Legs probably tripped me. He is always jealous of me. Then I killed the horse rider and nicked the 'Orse and made it run tward the caravan.

Then while me an Legs wos having a horse race to kill the big leader chap we noticed a Dragon. It was quite a skinny dragon and sounded a bit like Fel. And it shot electricity even though it was a green one. Now even I know that aint quite right. Turns out Fel and Straf were dressed up in a dead dragon skin to frighten the baddies. and it worked!

So then Straf made loads of blokes fall off their horses. Elanor killed loads more with her spiky chains, think I need to gets me some of them. Then I jumped off me 'orse and stabbed the boss man right in the gut. He didnt seem to mind though, so me and legs thought he was probably a well tuffer fighter than us. Especially Legs, he cant fight as good as me. or jump or hide as good. But he iz better at talking, and can make any door be unlocked. Oh, and he gets way more serving wenches. Which is a good thing for him.

The boss man blew a big wind horn at legs, but Legs didnt seem to care. Good one Legs, not bad for a human. Then we both showed the boss man our favorite hobby, stabbin'.
He soon died. Me and Legs fight quite good together. But I am better.

Eleanor,Fel Straff and big slow Imad chased all the men that ran off and nicked our stuff. They killed all the baddies, and then our stuff wasn't nicked no more.

Then we picked up all the stuff from the dead 'uns and gave it to the caravan bloke. Legs calls him Lamgshanks or summat but I donts remember his proper name. Legs and me took the boss mans stuff, cos we killed 'Im. Seemed fair to us. He got his wind horn thingy and I got his armour and a feathery metal helmet wif all posh engravings. Its too big but I might get a smif to make it small so it fits me.

Now we are walkin again in the desert. There is a man in the distance up ahead. Fink I will probablee hide from 'im.

Did sum more walkin' this week. Its well Ot. Cant even wear my best clothes.

The stranger we met arsked if we was true believers and we all said yer. Then he spoke to Imad for ages. I don't reckon he new the bloke was talking in the language of Dionists so i told Imad he was. Imad was well upset about that. He sed to shut up an stop embarrasin' him in front o his peers. So then we followed him and a load of blokes that hid. Pretty good hiding actually, for a human.

oh, the caravan and lambchop and his mates went another way. sed somethink bout zearlots or summat.

Wen we got to a camp there was a load of people standing about. Our new friend took us to the leader, who had makeup like a dancing girl and a gold beard. Surprised Legs didn't try is luck with him. he as had worse I fink. He asked us if we wanted to join his cult, who was all about killing evil people or summat. I got bored of his stories so I told him I was already in it, but I had lost my clothes. He left me alone after that. So now I am sort of pretending to be in a cult. might be elpful one day.

Straff learnt some magic stuff from the leader man, but while they was doing that we went to check our loot. We dont hav much use for that magic mumbo jumbo. Except Straff. 'E loves it.

I got a new belt wich is good and a sord. not as good as me cane sord tho.,straff had some rings of mumbo jumbo stuff and i givd him me old belt so e might not die so much. Im not as tough now that belt iz gone but I can hit stuff better with me new one. and thats better.

we had some food and a sleep. then we went norf again into the desert. Gettin' a bit bored of deserts now, just wanna wear me good clothes in a nice town.
